Yoga Nidrā - the yoga of sleep - is a great treasure of our yoga practice, a gem for all to appreciate and enjoy.
This workshop is an opportunity to experience multiple forms of yoga nidrā with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
Encounter the embodied wisdom revealed through these deepest states of relaxation, and learn about the history, philosophy, art and science of this powerful, liminal state of consciousness: yoganidrā.
Uma will share illustrations and stories, ancient teachings and contemporary research about yoga nidrā. She will guide you in a variety of yoga nidra practices to broaden understanding of the creative, healing and meditative potential of the cosmic sleep of the yogis.
She will also introduce you to the ancient powers of the goddess Yoganidrā Shakti Devī, the active ingredient of all practices of yoga nidrā.
Everyone is welcome. This is a donation based Nidra experience.
