Experience deep relief in this three-class series using multiple sizes and densities of therapy balls to release fascial adhesions, muscular tension and nervous system holding patterns in the neck, shoulders, jaw and along the spine. Repeated sessions can help interrupt longstanding patterns of tension and compensation while supporting the gradual integration of greater mobility, balance and ease. Each class is practiced supine (on your back), creating the conditions for the body to settle while addressing chronic holding and compensatory postural patterns.
Jennifer's approach, developed over many years, uses therapeutic ball work to interrupt cycles of neuromuscular constriction and support greater nervous system regulation, balance and flow. The work may help relieve longterm neck and shoulder tension, jaw holding and grinding, headaches, and patterns of chronic gripping.
Fascial release can help restore glide and movement between tissues that have become restricted through repetitive use, injury, stress or prolonged postural holding. Working with different sizes and densities of therapy balls allows for both broad and more specific pressure, reaching areas of the body with varying degrees of sensitivity and restriction.
Meeting once a week for three weeks allows the body time to respond and integrate between sessions. A few sessions of focused work can support musculoskeletal and fascial retraining and repatterning, giving the body repeated opportunities to experience new options for movement, support and release. Each session builds on the last, allowing patterns of tension and compensation to gradually shift over time.
